My Story

Meet Liadhán,

CulaBaby was born from years of lived experience with sleep deprivation, exhaustion, and the mental load of parenthood. After struggling with my own children's sleep, I trained as a Child Sleep Consultant in Ireland to help other families find calmer bedtimes, better sleep, and more confidence in their approach.

Through working with hundreds of families as a Baby Sleep Consultant and Child Sleep Consultant, and through my own journey, I discovered that behind many sleep struggles is a nervous system that needs support.

Today, I combine evidence-based sleep science with breathwork and nervous system regulation to support parents, children, and professionals, helping them feel calmer, more confident, and better able to cope with everyday life.

My mission: to help families reclaim their energy, sleep, and calm — one breath, one nervous system at a time.

What is breathwork?
Breathwork is a collection of simple breathing techniques designed to support your nervous system. The way we breathe has a direct influence on how we feel, helping to calm the body, reduce stress, improve sleep, increase focus and build emotional resilience. Breathwork isn't about taking big deep breaths — it's about learning to breathe in a way that helps your body feel safe and balanced.
How can breathwork help parents?
Parenting naturally keeps us alert. Broken sleep, the mental load, juggling work and family life can leave many parents feeling permanently "on." Breathwork helps regulate the nervous system, making it easier to feel calmer, think more clearly, sleep better and respond to everyday challenges with more patience and resilience.
Can breathwork help with stress and anxiety?
Yes. Gentle breathwork techniques help activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the body's natural calming system. While breathwork isn't a replacement for medical treatment, many people find it helps reduce feelings of stress, overwhelm and anxiety while improving emotional regulation.
Is breathwork suitable if I've never tried it before?
Absolutely. My sessions are designed for complete beginners. There are no complicated techniques or extreme breathing exercises. Everything is gentle, practical and tailored to your individual needs.
